The way that you worded your post, you opened yourself up for a smart ass remark.

Never let it be said that old Eric ever passed up on a smart ass remark.

Hey crackshot

In case you missed it we had a pretty good discussion here www.huntingnut.com/ind...pic&t=3856

IMO, the RCBS Chargemaster is an excellent powder thrower that will throw a charge that is just under your desired charge quickly and is just as accurate if not more accurate than a balance beam.

Only another ten days & I get to see the one I bought - it's currently 5,500 miles away, across the Pond in Albuquerque.
It'll get plenty of use whilst I'm over, as I'll be loading 9mm & .45ACP for some intensive handgun shooting & a couple of 3 gun competitions - something we can't do over here any more.

I think reloading is one of those hobbies that keep you buying the "newest and latest" all the time. I do however, have my old RCBS powder measure from my dad. But Im a sucker for any new fangled electronic gizmo. I was the first guy in my local rifle club to buy an 35P chronograph, Made the money I spent back the first summer renting it out to fellas who were wanting to know what their loads were doeing velocity wise.

D, after you've spent some time using a beam-type scale you'll be happy to plop down some cash for a digital. And automated dispensing! Gotta love it.

Crackshot, I love mine. My favorite option is to set it on "auto" load, what this does is loads out the desired amount/weight of powder, you take the powder tray off the scale, load it into your brass and once you place the tray back on....the scale hits zero and dispenses another load without having to push anymore buttons. This scale/dispenser has saved me a ton of time in my process and it is right on the money! Nice purchase!
