I do not have a trail camera, nor have I ever used one. So, I have limited knowledge of how they work or their limits.

Here is the problem. My office building has a dumpster. On Mondays when I arrive I frequently find that parties unknown have dumped stuff around, not even in, our dumpster. The junk is stuff that the dumpster pickup company will not take, apliances, furniture, etc. I am tired of being the one that has to clean up after these pukes.

Is there a trail camera that will take daylight photos and night photos, without a flash or without announcing to the world "here I am?" I would dearly love to catch these folks and have the constabulary drop an illegal dumping fine on them.

Got any suggestions for equipment?
Ed

Yes, any of the IR cameras should work. Be careful of where you place the camera so it doesnt get stolen. Some people make boxes to hold the camera via a lock so it cant be removed.

You could buy one of those $9 fake cameras and put it up in a visible spot with a sign staying VIDEO SURVEILLENCE Smile

Now there is a thought..... a nice black box with a hole in it and a little sign.
Thanks,
Ed
