Mind you, a thin sliver jacket would work as well. Just like 5.56mm NATO ammo, other similar small caliber thin jacketed ammunition as well as German and some other NATO member countries 7.62mm NATO which cause of the thin jacket fragments after impact. Will keep most of the silver where it "needs to be". ROFL

Silver melts around 1760+/- a bit .. Plenty hot enuff where Lone Ranger cudnt do it over a campfire .. Shrinks about twice as much as lead too ..

Winchester, makes a "silver" tip bullet, or used to.
Have a bunch left for the Win Model '98, lever action, in .32 special.

I mostly save these for werewolves, these days, now that someone brought it up.
