A life time of first aid (military) training and I use most of it on horses... Very Happy

I will wish that I never need to use any of my first aid training.
Because when I do it will meant somebody is hurting..

I got infromation on first aid training, Standard + CPR can be done in a weekend which is neat. Its a drive to get to the Wilderness training center though. Sad

tikkat3, last week rained through to Fri then Fri - Sat wasn't bad, Sunday I did Kiama markets and it rained on and off all day and set in in the arvo. Yesterday was patchy and heavy in the evening. Today so far dry. From whence do you hail.

Let's see:

- BIG first aid kit
- generator style flashlight
- 1L of drinking water
- small Katadyn water purifier
- fixed blade knife (folder is always in my pocket)
- fishing kit
- firestarter (as many cotton balls as will fit in an Rx bottle soaked in vaseline)
- waterproof matches
- compass
- signalling mirror
- space blanket
- 100 ft of parachute cord
- compact binoculars
- 5 energy bars

Fits in my backpack with a little room to spare.

Does that count?
