Man she should be able to buy a new motherboard / cpu combo really cheap, concidering what I just paid for a entirely new system... it SCREAMS yet I only paid 1k for everything in my new build.

keetoowah if you read this, and you arent running something like Dell computer (they use their own parts... hate'em), check out www.pricewatch.com/mot...rd_combos/ for some cheap replacement ideas. I have no idea what you used to have... but looking over this page on the low-end you can get a motherboard and cpu for under $100.

Otherwise I highly recommend shopping at newegg.com, best service, speedy shipping and generally very good prices on stuff.

Crackshot,

Don't replace the motherboard or Powersupply from the Dells without changing both. The power pins are different, and will fry out the mother board. Smile

Well guys, you know how it is for the working class. She had to choose between the computer or picking up a .44 Magnum (Ruger I think) She went for the .44, I'm proud of her!
