Let's just say it's not a girlie man gun. Took her to the range, and put the first shot in the 10 ring at twenty feet, but said...WHOOOO... when I felt the recoil. Shocked After that it was flinch city for a while till I settled down. Then started hitting the 10 ring every shot. My new baby in .454 Casull:

After a box of 454, the .45 colt bullets I finished with seemed like a wimp load. Confused

That is one sweet looking "dissolver".

I have always favoured revolvers over autos. Never actually fired the .454 Casull cartridge but from what I've heard it is awesome.

Well done on your new acquisition mate. Enjoy it.

Cheers, Vince

I just love it when I'm at the range, fire one off, and everybody is peeking over to what the heack made all that noise.

Got a question for any one who can answer. How do you tell a long action stock from a short action stock when all you have in hand is the stock????? Confused

Cool! I've long wanted a large revolver like the 454, 480 or 460, but just can't seem to think of a good excuse for my wife.
Do the rubber grips make a real difference in how it feels?
