I liked the silenced Ruger MkII and the silenced rifle (was it a 308 ? ) in the movie Assassin (Sylvester Stallone & Antonio Banderas)

I been shooting in the range every week with a 22lr, I can understand that a 22 would not give much of recoil if any at all.
However, I also shoot "powder factor" load in 38 Spl and they DO recoil.
I always get the sh!t when I saw movies that the actor uses a large caliber gun that is recoilless (cant think of one right away... no great loss they are B grade anyway) and super human shooting skills. Those movies make idjids buy large guns and break their wrist when they shoot it.

A few years ago, we got a few newbies in the club that want to shoot 44 magnum in the club against the wisdom given to them to get a 22 or 32 to start with. BOOM.. never see them again...

Another thing, Actors always carry their guns near their head/ears/eyes
because THEY looks good, idjits try to emulate the actors and lost their hearing, shot themselves in the head and lost their eyes from the blast that close to the head.

AND... I am in the roll here..

Why in movies, actors carry thir guns with the finger in the trigger? Gawddam.. accident waiting to happen..

AND... a head shot always drop the victim flat..
Almost every animal I shot in the head flops and kicks.. maybe in the movie they use different projectile...

Creepy Cruise had a retired SAS officer to train him for "Collateral" as well. If you get the new "Assault on Precinct 13", they have an entire piece in the extra features on the armaments and why they chose what they chose, what weapons the armorer thought each character would use in keeping with their character etc. I kind of appreciate it when they put that kind of detail in too.

Swat is also a pretty good movie
