Some of you guys might find this interesting. To the best of my knowledge it is the only +60 mule deer ever recorded. I had the picture and story lying about and just reciently re-discovered it.

Would be hard to believe to begin with, but having the pictures of the bear and moose tied in with it makes it impossible to believe since they were both proved fake.

The link you posted has pictures of a brown bear and a moose that went around the net for a couple of years with a story attached. Supposedly real giants, even the stories were incredible. The bear was supposed to be 12 feet long and the moose was supposed to have an 80 inch rack. Neither was even close. Would have to dig a little, but I'll see if I can find the stories.

The bear is 100% real but the story details are a bit off as you mentioned. See www.snopes.com/photos/...arhunt.asp for the full story.

The moose I know nothing about other than it made a neat picture.
