For the second time the bolt in my rifle didnt want to lock in. One time after running a boresnake through the barrel and last night when I cleaned the rifle. On both occassions when I tried to put the bolt in....it went right in but refused to lock in. I had to pull the trigger 2-3 times and then the bold locked in. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks for any news on THIS !!!!

Maybe there is dirt in the lug area ??

YC, I lean the way Dimitri is suggesting. Make sure the lugs and the lug recesses are clear of dirt and debris. I'll try and touch base with my local smith and see what his take is on this.

I've had trouble with my Remington 25.06 if the bolt wasn't lubed and seated correctly.
