I inherited a .270 Voere Laufstahl 3 from my father when he passed away and I was wondering the value, not that I plan to sell it though. He bought it new in the 1970's and the gun is mint. I couldn't seem to find any info about this model on the Internet anywhere.

Grant,
Welcome to the site
Firstly LAUFSTAHL 3 means "barrel steel" (Boehler N:r 3) so thats not part of the model name.
Voere is the company name so go to www.voere.com/ and find what model you have it might aid in your sreach for a value.
As for a value I'm not too sure sorry.
Dimitri

Back in the 1970s, a local gun shop was selling Voere Model 2155 rifles for $130.00 each. I managed to scape together enough money to buy a .243, a .270 and a.30-06. Still have them. All the best...

Hi, Grant
Whatever the Voere's value is to you, HOLD ON TO IT. I bought one in 1996 in 30-06 for $400, and it's one of the sweetest handling guns you will ever find. For such a light rifle, the recoil didn't feel as heavy as other '06's that I've fired. I was shooting 2" groups with MILITARY ammo...from a sitting position with no rest @100yds. I've fired other rifles with this type of accuracy, but I've never had one to fit me so well that it felt like an extension of myself. I'm sure once I handload for it, it will be boringly accurate.
Good luck seeing another one of these beauties. I saw one online a few years ago for $1000, used. That may not necessarily relate to its appraisal value, but may make you feel better.
Erik

Go to www.gunbroker.com and click on "rifle" under the heading "Firearms" and type in "Voere" and hit search. You will be mildly suprised.
