Damn…that’s not weather for a brass monkey. Like Elvis, I’m sitting here in just a pair of shorts and have done so since 7:30am. It’s hot here, damn hot…but I suppose it is summer.

13° here in the sunny South (NC) at the moment. Going to be 7° in the morning. At least there was no precipitation. I'm staying home tomorrow...

Do you know where the term "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey"?

On wooden warships, cannon balls were piled on deck beside the cannon in a pyramid and held in a 'brass monkey' or ring so they didn't fall over. If the weather was very cold the brass ring would contract faster than the iron cannon balls causing them to topple.

Today we warmed up to 16F, the other day it was -38F plus windchill. So 16 isn't all that bad lol

Have to overdress mate…I have Mother-Out-Law, SWMBO, 3 daughters, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 grand daughters and 2 great grandkids here…have to have a little decency. Cool

It’s raining here today, so I’m happy…still in just my shorts and nothing else…very comfortable, thank goodness…I’ve been sweating like a pedophile walking past an Orphanage.
