Pa tells Ma one morning that the drop dunny is getting full, but he's too old to dig another and they can't really afford to pay someone.

Ma says to talk to that young Ron that just bought the next farm, he went to uni she says. So Pa asks Ron, who says to get 2 sticks of dynamite. Cut one fuse short, light them both, throw them down the hole, and run back to the house. The first stick will blow the dunny up in the air, then the 2nd stick will blow the contents over the paddock for fertiliser, and the dunny will drop back into position

Pa does this the next morning, however Ma runs out to the dunny as soon as Pa gets near the shed & safety. He yells at her to get away, but it's too late. wtf

The 1st stick blows the dunny up into the air, with Ma inside, Shocked

then the 2nd stick blows everything out all over the paddock, JUST like Ron said it would...
Pa runs over to check on Ma. She staggers out and says "Bloody good thing I didn't let THAT one go in the kitchen". Fart

Whats the rest of the story?

I have heard of bombing the drop
I thought they just put kero in and lit it

When you think about it, it sounds reasonable...BUT...In reality...Probably find the dunny on top of the house or the barn.

reminds me of young Johny...his Pa had told him the story of Johny Appleseed,how he had cut down an apple tree and his Pa didnt give him a beating because he owned up to it..
young Johny found some gelignite and thought it would be fun to blow up the long drop,so he duely lit the fuse and dropped stick down hole from out around the back of longdrop...and run like heck...he got home that night,his Pa asked him if he had blown up the dunny..."why yes Pa it was me" at which point Pa took to him with a switch,whaled the TAR OUT OF HIM...in between sobs he yelld "but Pa you told me I wouldnt get punished if I told the truth just like Johny appleseed"
Pa replied"but son johny Appleseeds Pa wasnt up the jolly tree"
