I'm OK now but had a bit of a scare Thurs. I was awakened by what felt like Buddy Rich in my chest. Got my first, and hopefully only ambulance ride. Atrial Fibrillation, pulse was 150. While the ER folks were deciding what to do it reset itself. After a bunch of tests (and $$$) we learned that my heart is "mechanically" fine. They don't know what caused it. The docs have tweaked a couple meds and changed one to prevent another occurrence. Two days in the hospital and they sent me on home. Doc said to take it easy a few days and then I should be able to resume my routines.

I also want to say that all of the firemen, EMTs, nurses, technicians and doctors I dealt with were just great. Professional, efficient and friendly. Heck, the hospital food was even good!

Take it easy Punkin…you’re approaching that time in life where it’s time to kick back and relax mate, enjoy the company of grandkids and guide them with your experience.

Have you recently had the jab? Sounds like what happened to my mother post jab now she has to see a cardio specialist. and same thing happened with one of our customers.

I had it about 2 months ago... Been wondering the same thing. I've also seen that several folks had heart issues after the vaccine.

Feeling pretty good today.

Now Bushy, I haven't shot a tree in years! But that trophy is proudly mounted in my "hobby room".

Just a follow up... I asked the doc to lower the dosage of Synthroid when all that happened in OCT. All the "premature" heartbeats, etc. went away. Now my thyroid is a little off but I prefer that to worrying if my heart is going to stop! I post this in case anyone else is on thyroid meds.
