Just came back from an overnight rabbit shooting with a disabled mate (he did not have any feet due to an accident in the past.
Albert is an optometrist that has a shop behind mine when I have my camera store.
He is a great fellow that gives more than most I know and he has a great zest in life, he serviced remote location tribes of native Aboriginal Australians voluntarily, he had circumnavigated Australia in a sailing boat and participated in a few Sydney to Hobart yacht races. He even extra-ed on the last MadMax movie (the first ten seconds or so on this scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8JWSaqVi5A )
I have encouraged him to take a shooting license for years and when he finally did last month, we decided to have an introductory "hunting" trip where he can shoot from the car (drive-by shooting )
We have quite a good success considering that we only have a couple of hours in between the rain to shoot.

Gelandangan,
Tell your friend he has my respect!
You both got a bunch of bunnies but you have a lot more wealth in your friendship. Blessings to you both.

Can't beat a bit o' bunny bashing.
Unfortunately, it's been so wet here of late, the rabbits have all swum off...

Thank Paul, the message conveyed.
He thanked you also for the compliment, it is his first rabbit shooting and processing, he is happy to be able to do it.
@Vince and @English Mike
Anytime you guys come about here, I could arrange for a short trip to get some rascally rabbits

What are you using on them Gelan?
My set-up is a CZ452 in .22lr with a Leupold 3-9x33 & a Swift Stumpy suppressor.
Ammunition's Eley subsonics, which makes it quieter than a suppressed air rifle.

On this trip I use my Ruger M77/22 and Albert is using my Winchester 320 since he has yet to purchase his rifles.
@pete4d
I have asked him to join but he is reluctant at this moment, maybe later once he is more confident with hunting then he would join.

thats a great start to long happy hunting life.... if you want to skin your bunnies quickly,try a cut across back,kidney area and simply pull both ways,works really well when just shot...you can trim feet and head off at same time and remove the poohs n wees next...

That’s the way I do them mate...but if you want to keep the skins for whatever reason, then it’s the old harder way. Knife around the knees, then up the inside of the legs from the belly, peel down the legs then pull the skin off like a glove. Then you remove the internals, finishing with the freckle. I open the belly then holding the head and back legs, give it a solid flick in a “safe” direction (don’t want the internals all over my legs etc)...a couple of nicks with the knife and the freckle is out too. Then a quick wash out and into a plastic freezer bag and into the fridge/freezer...nothing worse than fly blown meat.
