I suggested this Kiwi lad came along here as the kiwi forums have turned a tad toxic as of late.
looked at my account...you fellas n fellesses have put up with my bad moods and worse spelling for 12 years now so this cant be a bad place to hang out.
one of the really annoying things on nzhs forum was inability to talk about our faith AT ALL. we had a great thread going last month...4 pages worth of good dialog WITHOUT rancor,spite or hatred rearing its ugly head..bigotry wasnt there either.
one of the things Ive always loved about this place is RESPECT....its shown to all our members..common decency to read and digest others opinions and reply respectfully even if the reply isnt in agreeance with OPs statement...I mean everyone knows its OZZIEs that shag sheep,we KIWIs shear them not share them!!!! and you fellas from pomgolia decided to put gorse here just to annoy the crap out of me every time I go hunting but I still love you jokers to bits.....
we come from many varied backgrounds ,indeed we are scattered across the globe,our ages vary quite a bit,never asked the question....maybe should do it as a poll??? as to our faiths denomination...but then again I cant pigeonhole myself on that one so dont expect others to do same.... we all respect others faith....its a personal thing after all.
you guys have supported me in my walk...heck one of our most active members used to send me lots of tittie shot emails....and didint say boo just stopped the nudie ones and kept sending funnies ...no shit thrown my way,just kept the mateship flowing....deep respect for him for doing that.

right thats enough deep and meaningfuls from me for this day...must go put on mesh glove (so dont cut myself AGAIN) and cut up some of the tasty venison from fridge so it can go into freezer and I have excuse to go hunting again tommorrow.

It means just. "Pull up" a stump next to the fire. Otherwise you will be standing next to the fire. Not a good idea if drinking beer. You may very well stumble and get burnt.

Welcome aboard the fine ship The Nut 5string. As the others have already said, grab a beer and pull up a stump...everybody is welcome around our fire mate. Our Bossman, DallanC, is one of the good guys and is very tolerant of the many “international” personalities on here, and like many, is a wealth of knowledge on hunting and firearms.

The easy way to establish the vibe is to be yourself mate. You will find that we are a very easy going group of like-minded guys who enjoy hunting, a good laugh, hunting, taking the puss outa one another, hunting, oh and general firearm chat. There are only a couple of expected things...respect one another and don’t forget we are a family orientated forum, so we keep it “clean”.
