Gidday to all.
Been a long time. Lost my login details and only just found / worked out how to get it going after talking to Elvis on the phone yesterday.
Well where do I start.
NZ Gun reform - well that went really well didn’t it........I was involved at a National level until they found out I like guns - I was replaced - well that’s how it appeared to me and they gave the role to a guy who doesn’t. Politics
Now this bloody Covid19 - I don’t vote for Jacinder but by and large she’s done a pretty good job considering. Although it’s taken a long time to shut our borders and quarantine: new arrivals 14 days now for each and every person entering NZ
Can’t go hunting as that’s been specifically banned along with fishing. Doesn’t matter in the long run as hopefully we will be Covid19 free at the end of it.
Still working, both my wife and I are essential workers - she’s in Pharmacy and probably more exposed than I am to be fair.
That’s a quick summary - I’ll have a read and a catch up now

Welcome back mate. I must apologise for not being able to work out a way of recovering your details...good thing Elvis is tech savvy and was able to sort things out.

Yep, politics will trump commonsense every time. I would somehow find a way to let those responsible for replacing you know that you consider your integrity, ability to be subjective and good standing has been besmirched.

Not being able to hunt or fish is a pain...I was hoping to try for fish for Good Friday...no such luck. Boaties out here have been slugged with thousands of dollars in fines for ignoring the Health Directive rules. I thought about “self isolating” in the bush where I hunt, but even that isn’t allowed...and I’d need to camp out for a couple of weeks...SWMBO wouldn’t be happy with that.

Give my regards to Nat for her selfless dedication to the welfare of the people mate, and also to yourself for the same reason mate.

Welcome back mate.....you two stay safe up there.when all the fuss n bother dies down we will meet up for a cuppa or a beerzie again......sooner or later,good things take time and all that.

Thanks for checking in Radar! I for one miss you put understand that you have less free time than you once did. I am thankful that the great State of Texas allows us to do outdoor activities like walking, biking, hiking, etc as long as we practice social distancing. So I try to make it out to my lease and hike around while doing some hunting. Other states have gone stupid like Pennsylvanian where they shut down everything - everything.
