Hi
The new .454 Casull ELEPHANT!
Actually - I was using some photo editing software to tinker around with a design for heavy-recoil pistol that would have the line of the recoil as close to the line of the thumb as possible. Controlling muzzle-jump on firing has a lot to do with the amount of leverage the recoil gets, being fairly high above the point on the palm between the thumb and forefinger that has to absorb most of said recoil.
I started with Taurus's Raging Bull in .454 Casull, thast being one of the most muzzle-climb-ey saw-handled pistols in production, right now, even with the excellent built-in muzzle break.
The end design just needed a bit of filling in and smoothing to actually look like a firearm, and there I was with nothing to do, so....
I photoshopped in the new, "ELEPAHNT," logo, too. No sense leaving a half-assed job half done! That'd make it QUARTER-assed.
Actually - it don't look half bad.
Question is: Would buy a pistol that looked like that if if kept your muzzle down for a much faster follow-up shot?
(Don't even ASK me about my .600-or-so cal. autoloader, based on the Bergman Bayard 1910/21...).

Al....It's obvious you need a day job or a hobby. Have you ever tried reloading your own ammunition? No...I guess that wouldn't be a good idea either with you designing guns like that.
(Hummmmmm...I wonder if it would work? No...Now quit it. Yer beginnin' ta sound like Al....)
Hi Al...How ya doin'? Haven't heard from you in a while... Now that was a dumb question. It's obvious you are doing just fine in that there home...

Hi
Just happened to think: Thare's an AWFULL lot of acreage up there above the trigger.
Enough room to put in a key lock that'd cam the firing pin, the action and the cylinder release immobile.
Just an idea....

Hiya, Bushy! I've been having a bit of a hard time, health-wise, but I've been trying to keep up around here.
I seem to be thinking about food and firearms, mostly. Stuck in the, "F's," I guess.
Mmm - food and firearms - considering some of the OTHER, "F's," I could be preoccpied with, I guess I'm not all that bad off!

Hell, son - I'm fragile PHYSICALLY, not EMOTIONALLY!
BRING it, boat-boy!
Besides, the nice men in the white coats give me the GOOD stuff when I start acting up.
...and I'm doing some better, thanks. The messenger of Morpheus, named Vicodinus by us mortals, comes to visit about twice a week, now. That's up a bit from the previous one or two every four months.
The VA wants me to go to about four a day, but I think that my boots would fill with drool WAY too fast at that level.

Gidday Al, sorry to hear you haven't been well mate. Sounds like our old mate Morpheus is keeping you in good spirits.....I note your pistol as an example..WOW.
I reckon if you keep paying out on Bushy and the rest of us then you will forget your aches and pains and get back to good health sooner.
Get well mate, cheers,
Vince
PS Still not sure about that revolver you designed. What is the calibre...... 50 Mangle'em! Vince
