Did not get name of kind heart who saved the duck. Wood duck populations have really taken a beating due to habitat loss. We are lousy with black and mallards as well as crosses. Our city parks are overrun. Personally, I prefer my poultry without feathers and purchased from my local supermarket. Exceptions are upland game birds and Canada Geese.

Vince, why don't you call it a lost Flemish duck? Here duck season opened on August 15th... (but I didn't go out to get one, I like hunting doves more).
Besides, I can notice now that it's realy a domesticated one there sitting on the pot and it's always open season for domesticated game.

Never post picture when doing something you might have to explain to the authorities. They will be used in court!
