What are the three best rounds for the S&W 460 then the 454 & Colt 45
Name only one cal. for each which will be used in a S&W 460 Mag. XVR

The one cal. (which I presume means caliber) that will be used in each is .452 inches.

As for the "three best rounds;" I see no need for three best rounds in each of them. I have one round for the 45 Colt. I have 2 rounds for the 460 S&W Magnum and I haven't settled on one for the 454 Casull.

I don't have the 460 or the 454 Casull, but I do have a couple of favorites for the .45 ACP.

For the 3" 1911 I use a 185 grain hornady XTP over 7.7 grains of WSF.
For the 5" 1911 I use a 185 grain JHP over 6.7 grains of W-231.
