Both a loss & a blessing, as he had been ill with Alzheimer's for some years & was getting worse.
Goodbye dad, I'll see you on the other side.

Alzheimer's bites...had a grandparent that had it for more than 10 years before she passed, sorry about your father Mike........ She would do some weird things like hide behind the shower curtain in the tub when were lookin for her. She also read the same newspaper for months, and television was like real people in her livingroom to her. I always think that might be a good way to go, as you really don't have a clue what's going on anyway. Oh well, I'm sure you'll keep him in your dreams, he's a huge part of who you are physically and mentally, the mirror still leaves a reflection.

Sorry to hear of your loss. My 91 year old Dad has Alzheimers and I can understand your thoughts on it.
