Just a quick note to give a deserved bit of praise.
To Derrick Bohm and his team at Knives Ship Free in the USA. knivesshipfree.com
I ordered 3 Wustoff cooking knives last Sunday evening 6th Jan 13, they arrived 11 Jan 13.
All this at less than 2/3 the price the king of thieves wanted for 1 knife.
I have problems getting stuff out of Sydney in under 3 days and this order come 1/2 way around the world AND clears customs in 5 days.
These guys are worth considering for your knife needs.

Pete, I reckon you are quite lucky to have your knives clear customs.
At Australian Blade Forums we have been bitching about customs confiscating imported knives even when they conform t the law.

Wasnt worried Geland,
Even the limited species that inhabit Australian Customs can recognise a Kitchen knife and a pair if chicken scizzors as NOT being weapons of mass hysteria.
Pissed off I cant import a Fallkniven PXL LIM though.
