Well Dimi he pulled a Mulligan and gets another try, don't know about a Mulroney, but disappearing Democrats would be nice. Now it's on to the fiscal cliff and is there any way a person can make an investment in the stock market or anything else with the devalued dollar and 0% interest rates? Actually my stocks have remained strong so far but I still worry about near term plays and whether or not anything is safe.

Mulroney killed the conservative party in Canada, with what he did.

Today's "Conservative" party is really the much smaller Reform party/Canadian Alliance that took control of the name in 2003.

Markets went down ~2.5% today, Dow Jones had the worst day of 2012.

Heh, Congress and Senate I thought were the two houses. Hence "Congressmen" in the Congress, and "Senators" in the Senate.

But heh I guess its because I'm splitting it up like Canada, House of Commons with our ministers and the Senate with the Senators.
