So I when out Tuesday to call some coyotes. To date My calling has been lots of me huffing and puffing on mouth calls and little to no results. I think in 3 years I called in 3 coyotes. Tused day that all changed. I've only used mouth calls, so maybe it's just taken time to figure it out. First stand 15 min zippo so I moved about 300yds. Normally I would have went back to the truck and moved a mile or more,but the pasture is foot access only this year. I called for about 7 min, and boom to my left at 30 feet stood a big coyote. I could not get turned to shoot, I tried to swing ever so slowly, but after 40 seconds he had enough and split. So I moved 300 yds more and called for 10 min. Nothing seemed to be happening so i got up,took 4 steps and from a bush 130 yds out Coyote bolts. Any way by noon I had seen 3 more got a shot at 1 and scored Nothing! Was the best day I ever had calling. Tomorrow I'll try again 5 miles father south in the same pasture, this time I'm going to pick my spots a little better as it is very pot hole type land with many small patches of scrub bush. I hope I can post some picks.
P.S. That sucks I was hopping that the  icon would show in the subject, oh well

Oh it will all come together for you. There are plenty of yotes around S'toon and up here in PA. What are you using for shooting irons?
