The Boers from South Africe also had a name for british settlers living in SA before the Boer war, can think what it was at the moment, but it was something like "salt dangley bit that blokes have but females dont", meant that the british settlers were divided between South Africa and England, with one foot on either landmass, and the dangley bit hanging in the salt water in between.

Hope you can understand the meaning, itty witty bit drunk at the moment Cheers

Yeah...I agree Camel...at least the camels in Australia are pure blood...not like the camels in the Middle East...inbred in more ways than one, which is why they are called "Ships of the Desert"...full of Arab sailors...or is that "seamen". Confused

I guess I'd better warn those west of Pomland that I'm currently a LOT closer & there's no water between me & them right now........ Razz

Unfortunately not. Sad

My friend's ranch in Oklahoma had the wildlife decimated by the drought, so I'm one state further west in New Mexico, visiting friends & decompressing from a somewhat tiring year.

I'll likely do my deer hunting over the border into Scotland once the does have weaned off their young.

Fair enough Mike...maybe a little "hunting" with a camera would be in order mate...time spent in the bush is very relaxing.

Whichever way it goes mate...enjoy the break and relax.
