Yep, six thousandths of an inch, and they were factory loads. I figure if you want quality loads you eliminate every variable that you can. As Bushy said "to each his own."

And those extra .006" are being mashed into any crimp, potentially making pressure rise. Sorry, I'll take the extra time. Have been for over 50 years...too late to teach an old dog....

You don't get to be "an old dog" by skipping steps that make it safe.
we are free to use any method of reloading that we choose. We are also responsible for the outcome. Like a boss of mine once told me about some safety deficiencies... "We have done it this way for 20 years and we aren't going to change now." Then WISHA (Washington state OSHA) did an inspection and they implemented the cost saving refinements that I had been proposing for three years. It did not make my job better but we had fewer accidents.
