Has anyone been paying attention to this ???

"Project Gunrunner" and "Fast and Furious"

Here they are trying to make everyone believe the US gun laws or lack thereof are responsible for Mexico's gun violence.

Turns out the BATFE has been allowing guns to walk across the boarder knowingly !!!
One of the guns was used in the killing of Boarder Agent Brian Terry

What's really surprising is CBS has actually taken an interest and has been doing some reporting !!!

Sure did, it was on the huffington post for a couple of days then it vanished after a few days earlier this month.
Best part is atf of texas denied that any weapons crossed the border to them crazy mass murderers/druggies.

It has been past time to abolish the ATFE. They never had a useful purpose and even less now.

Couldn't agree more, now the batfe (modern version) was established in 1886, spun off from irs, as a bureau, consists of several different groups that each have their own respective role, commanded by a director. Special Agents are empowered to conduct criminal investigations, defend the United States against international and domestic terrorism, and work with state and local police officers to reduce violent crime on a national level, and was once a part of fbi, now part of doj. Now batfe main objective for being around is inland security, cigarette bootlegging, firearms, etc?.......then tell me what in the heck is Homeland security for?

I've been watching this unravel over the past couple of months.
Seems to me there was an agenda behind the whole thing that had nothing to do with curtailing the flow of firearms to Mexico & a lot to do with domestic policy with regard to "evil black rifles."

I wonder just HOW senior the scapegoat will be.....

My thoughts exactly !!!

Darren Gil the head agent in Mexico didn't even know about this.
He started figuring things out when he discovered he was locked out of the case file when he started processing serial numbers for evidence tracing that all went back to Phoenix

Gil also said his supervisor told him that the operation was approved by someone higher than the ATF director (Kenneth Melson)

It seems now this story is finally getting into mainstream papers now, the sad part is from reading this article, it states that there will be an "internal investigation" only. So in other words, they can cover it up even more. Usa Today Atf

Too late for the ATF to try covering this up, especially with Issa & Grassley out for blood. The very least to happen will be someone very high up "falling on their sword".
