I finally made it!

I am finally a AAA class shooter in the 22 rimfire silhouette! I shot my second AA score Tuesday late afternoon. The temp was 90F with 1 to 3 mph winds gusting to 5mph. Perfect or near perfect whether for shooting.
Now I have to keep improving to make the master classification... It never stops, there is always room for personal improvement.
My goal has changed now. I made it into AAA so now the goal is to make master by the end of the year.

Great work Paul...that is no mean feat mate. I used to shoot centre fire IHMSA, so I know just how much of an achievement you have reached.

You do of course realise that silhouette is horribly habit forming, don't you mate! Next will be centre fire pistol, then rim fire rifle followed by centre fire rifle. Wink

I have shot Hunters Pistol silhouette in my late twenties and back then you got AAA for shooting up to 40 of 40. I held the club record for the most 40/40 matches. I couldn't do that today, my eyes are not good enough. I will get to the Master level - no matter how long it takes. Smile

PaulS, congrats. This is great! Can you post some pictures of the firearms you are using? .22s and squirrels have been my rimfire challenge of late!

I might be able to get a picture but it is just an old Remington 581 with a Timney trigger adapted from a 788. The scope I have on it is worth 50 times what the rifle is. Smile
