Groundhog hunting

It's been a while since I posted, I Hunt Groundhogs all summer and every chance I get. I start the summer with a 220 Swift, then trade off to something different as the summer slides into the dogday...

I only managed to get 11 dogs this year, Sad

but in return I did get this red fox. Smile

That's a well trained fox! I finished the Summer with 37 Groundhog's, was not out as often as I like, will see what the Spring of 2014 bring's.

Shot my first groundhog when I was 6 !!!
Many of good memories in the field with dad and one of his hunting buddies.
Wish I had the time to get back into it.

6mm Remington with 55gr B-Tip at 4150 does one hell of a job !!!
