Don't give up on the Mini 14. I've had mine over 3 years and I can shoot gophers at 90-100 yards with it. I handload all my ammo, did a trigger job to reduce the pull to 3-1/2 pounds and hung a laser ...

You do realize that you don't have to clean the toilet first. The cat will get it quite clean.
