Varmint Special...The code reads "B" or "R" followed by an "S". The first letter is struck off-line. The date of manufacture is JAN ...

Follow 1895's link....it's the BARREL CODE not the serial number.
Look on the left side near the action for IMPACTED lettering...its explained in the link.
