I did not get hit but my car did. Two .22 caliber holes in the outer shell of the door. About midnight just off of Papin St. in St. Louis around 10 years ago.

The 243 loaded with 100gr. Nosler Partitions with IMR4350 is good medicine for deer, even larger northern Missouri deer.

It drops them where they stand.

I have not used my 243 for yotes yet but ...

I have a S&W 686 with an 8 3/8 inch barrel shooting 180 gr. Nosler Partition-HG's on top of 14.5gr. of Lil'Gun. I have a 2x scope mounted on it.

I have an 11-87 Premier Upland Special 20 gauge that I would not take a mint for. It handles well and hits what I shoot at. It is the first Remington shotgun that has ever done that for me.

My deer caliber is the 243 Win. loaded with 100 gr. Nosler Partitions.

I hunt North Missouri where deer tend to run on the large size and after dozens shot, I have never lost one.

I shoot a Mathews Outback.

I have looked at and shot the newer Mathews bows since mine came out and I don't feel any need to change to one of the newer ones.
