I agree with you guys the 17HMR, but still wanted some feedback.
I also thought of Savage. My neighbor has a Marlin that's pretty nice looking and he's been slamming g-hogs all summer with it!

I, as Pumpkinslinger, have used electrical tape for years. I even tested at the range when I started using this method and saw no noticable change of impact point.

IMO the best "international" would be the 308 Win / 7.62 NATO.

Hey big D, did you ever try Glenlivet or Glenfeddich?
Both are single malt scotch made in Scotland. I highly recommend.

A Winchester 7mm mag with the BOSS system. I had shot it at the range with hearing protection a lot until deer season. A handload with 150 gr. Nosler BT, H4831, etc..
