That's a well trained fox! I finished the Summer with 37 Groundhog's, was not out as often as I like, will see what the Spring of 2014 bring's.

I do sneak when I cannot get a shot at a Groundhog, but I prefer to shoot at what ever distance the Groundhog is at. I guess I'm just lazy, shoot and take the walk.

I use the Barnes 40's out of a 22250, 3900 fps., they have worked well out to 400 yds.. I've not shot anything but Groundhogs with them, they do what I need.

If anybody has the last VHA magazine, # 58. I'm on page 199, right side of the page, middle picture. My farthest is 1005 yds., Groundhog, took 2 shots from the prone position.
