never underestimate an old man...
reminds me of these 2 bulls coming down the mountain seeing a lot of cows in the valley. The young one says: "See who can get the first cow?" And the old one answers: "Keep it easy and we'll take them all..."

I'm over it, the girlfriends over it, one of my good mates copped it yesterday, we were going on a road trip together for week to see some mates down in Canberra. Just as well being crook on the road is no fun.
Now we can all smile and think of the upcomming flu season.

I hope you and your SWMBO get well soon mate, and avoid the flu, at least until you are well over the Chinese virus.
The road down to Canberra is great now, although the only big town you go through now, between Brisbane and Sydney, is Coffs Harbour. Sydney will bleed your bank account dry with road tolls, if you use toll roads (which are hard to avoid), although the first one you will encounter is the tunnel that cuts out Pennant Hills Rd. It’s about 8km long, but is fantastic, except for the toll. Don’t rely on old knowledge of roads on the outskirts of Sydney…I learnt the hard way as they have all changed…Wallgrove Road in particular.

My memories of sydney rds and work arounds is 30 years old.
IMO the tolls are worth it, and yes that is a very impressive tunnel.
I didnt believe the GPS when it said 2.25 hrs from Wyong to Berrima, thats what it took, it used to take an hour just to get from the end of the Hume hwy to Hornsby. The cash sacrificed to spend less time in, around or near Sydney is well worth it. Thank god I dont live there.

ALL my tenants and their workers in my warehouse are COVID positive, so last night I went for a test (again) and today I got the result back - glad to report that it is NEGATIVE
I don't know what to make of it except nicotine intake could make the difference.

A new development, my wife is now COVID positive, OTOH we PCR tested together yesterday and I am Negative.
Again I think either the booze or the nicotine made the difference.

Or just currently lucky.
Let us know in 4 days how you're going.
Or its the fact you are the age you are, born and raised in a tropical country without the benefit of antiseptic cleaners at every turn. Your mum sent you down the road to play with the kids with measels didnt she.
So you have a robust immune system.
Or youve been asymptomatic and already had it.
Stay well.
