Well, my firm belief is that if you are not allowed to be armed for your own defense you are not free. In a recent news story a little old lady with a handgun held three home invaders until police showed up. That's freedom!

If you take away the legal ownership of guns then only the criminals will have guns. You are only free if you can defend yourself. When seconds count the police are only minutes away.
