I guess bent or not hes made his point.

I've also read somewhere that Beretta Usa got fed up with the ammo and gun laws waiting to be passed that they threatened to stop shipments of ammo and weapons to Kalifornia. They even went so far as to tell the law enforcement agency's to buy ammo and weapons from another manufacturer, I don't know what became of this cuz I haven't heard anything more about it.

Unless he have unique desirable products, price, service or stock, the buyer would simply go to another seller.
Thus the whole exercise simply gone down as a bad business practice.

Of course I am speaking in the POV of a store owner.

Yeah...true Gelan...but if a big multi-national supplier backs off, the rest are gonna look and say, "OK...what is going on?" - "Should we be dealing with this 'buyer' ?" Although they all know what is going on in the industry, there isn't much that gets past them, and they will know if there is something funny going on and why.

True Vince, in a perfect world the other suppliers gonna be supporting the cause..
but in real life, some supplier going to go, "ahhh.. more business for me"..

Heck, I am sure out of the 1000's of gun suppliers/sellers out there, some would be voting greens, and are anti gun themselves.
Some are only in it for the money..

I have a relative that has lived out in northern California for 15 years and just last year her and her hubby wanted to build on their property a small gunsmith shop (he has an ffl) since he owns over 300 acres. Paperwork after paperwork filed sent and refiled, they were turned down by california atf for not having a storefront? After endless battles with the local township to get a permit they finally said thats it. They have a prospective buyer for their land and house and will be moving back later this year to her hometown in western ia to open up a ma and pa gunshop.

Well, some of them aint greed, wish it is just as plainly clear cut, but life is just full of contradiction.

If you got a lot of other depending on you to put food on the table (and funds for your child's college),
often you will do anything to make that happen.

Nevertheless, I wish the seller on gunbroker luck, he is furthering OUR cause,
so we should support him.

Didn't Ronnie Barrett do much the same thing - refuse to sell his firearms to any CA Law Enforcement agencies or service any of those they already had because of the State ban on .50 cal rifles?

I can't find anything about Barrett ceaseing to ship/repair any of therir products in California/
