I have a friend in southern USSR of C that breeds Percherons and Friessians and mix of each...Horses though...No mules. Had a Missouri Red Mule once. Over 17 hands...Joe was his name...A gentle giant...

My pup Beastie went literally nose to nose and then took off running when the mule laid those ears back and chased him all over the lower paddock.
Never have I wanted to shoot a mule like I did that one. Onry and mean.
Friessians are the finest in my book and I have learned that to get a "true one" as I've been told, its takes a huge amount of money and 8 months in custom's quarantine.
I personnally like the American bred paints and when I can I will get one and keep here on the ranch for my own horse instead of riding the owners sorrel. She is sweet but she isnt a Friessian.
I tried saddling up that twin brother of the horse that was in the movie Hidalgo, the owner called him Hell's Fire. He wouldnt have any of it.
He just went to auction last week with all the others. A new batch of 50 came in with 4 studs and they got clipped Memorial Day.
No mules this time. hoorah.
Joe was a BIG mule sir.
any pictures of Tulsa?

Wow Vince...I see I need to up date you....Those are old...The last one is at least 10 days old...

There you go Keetoowah...The extent of my horse ranch. Such as it is...The Sorrel (Cutter) is the 22 year old mountain trained Quarter horse that has been up to 9,000 feet in the Sierras and the Bitterroots...And many a trip to the Cascades...He would be my "War Horse"...He has even chased off a puma from camp..

No problems mate. I have the recent photos of Zeus enjoying himself running and jumping, but these are the ones I have that best show off Cutter and Tulsa.

Cheers, Vince
