Hi again.

A few days ago I posted about my trade of a camera with a rifle. Now, the trade is done but I cannot take my mind off the lever action 25-20.

Instead of a marlin like I thought, it is in fact a Winchester Mod 92 in very very good nick for a 100 years old gun. No scratches, nice woodworks etc.

I wonder if anyone could tell me if this gun is a collectable, or a great gun, or is it just "another gun". Should I loose sleep thinking of this gun? Because the owner want to sell it for about AUD $400, is this a fair price for it?

Go to www.gunbroker.com Go to the "Firearms" and under that enter in the "rifle" section then go to "lever action" section type in "Winchester" and compare what they are being auctioned for. Should give you an idea of what its worth...There is one .25-20 listed at present at over $900 American...It's not the same as yours and not in as good a shape as yours, but if you look a little farther on the site you may find yours. It may take a few days, but one will show up...
