I guess you didn't see the LOL at the end of my post. My Marlins were made before 2010 so I guess that's why I don't have problems with them.

Scratch well my mates side eject 30/30 that he has had since he was a teenager feeds like a piece of crap wtf compared to a winchester top eject that I had..or the brother in laws marlin I used....so some must be better than others.... bit like people really..some of us are a bit rough around the edges Very Happy

so at the end there is a place for everybody and most people have their qualities...
and some have only 1 nerve or long toes Smile


and a Winchester is better handling Smile

what about a Browning lever action?
Never seen this one in a cowboy-movie...
