Golly, the law Australia is getting more and more irrational.

First it is Guns, then Knives, spray paints and now, a BAN ON HAMMER is called!!

we need to start the same controls on golf equipment as there is on firearms. lock up your clubs ,balls, tees in seperate places. no leaving clubs in a unattended vechile, no mixing alcohol and golfing,
that would make the policy makers sit up and take notice.
oops I forgot no golf if you have a criminal conviction, and you will loose all golfing gear and not be allowed it again if you threaten to use it for harming someone...

Damn...and that's in the State in which I live...sorta sums up the majority of Magistrates and Judges all over though.

I now have about eight (I think) murderous weapons in my garage...not locked away...just laying in my tool box and on tool shelves. Will they classify, and licence, hammers according to their style and intended use...ball pein, flat pein, claw, engineers hammers...let's not forget those insidious rubber mallets and nylon hammers...the one's that x-ray can't see...oh no...can't have them.

Wonder how they will classify nails, and those extremely dangerous screws??? Will they ban all nails and screws over a certain size, both length and diameter, and heaven forbid you should have those crews that self drill...oh wow...they are just so dangerous. Oh, nearly forgot the nails that are designed to be driven into concrete...nope...can't have them either.

What in blue blazes is this world coming to????? I simply cannot believe the stupidity of people that are supposed to be intelligent and leading our nations. The following clip sums up politicians all over the world I think.

Don't worry -banning hammers is just a step away from banning gavels. Then the judges and legislators will have to open and close sessions with starter (blank) pistols. And that's just a step away from once again legalizing handguns.
