Vince I was gonna post this in a few days but here goes: Thanks everybody here for their prayers. God Almighty is healing Jeremy. He actually is semi awake and can respond to people by squezzing their hand or blinking. Dr's gave him a 1 in 5 chance to live thru last saturday, but hes a fighter. Its gonna be a long road to recovery but I think he has a good chance now. The prayers are what healed him. Thanks to all my friends here for the prayers, and thanks to Almighty God for the healing. I'll try to find a link from the local paper. Rudy.

Rudy he's also in our prayers. I think he may be one of the Deputies that live right down the street from me. Hoping he makes it. My hat is off to all you lawmen for your devotion to duty and standing in harms way..

Suspect starts shooting her as deputies arrived, they run inside and he shoots the first one in the chest where the bullet goes between his ballistic panels and hits his aorta. The 2nd one gets hit directly in the chest but his trauma plate deflects the bullet, he gets away with just 3 broke ribs, the 3rd deputy gets shot on the forearm. They return fire and strike the suspect once on the hand is what I've been told late tonight. Suspect then barricades himself and his hostage, whom he shot 5 times, 2 in the knees and at least once in the vaginal area, in the bathroom.

I am never really at rest knowing what he goes up against every day with the scum that society condone and let run rampant out here. Our time togther is golden and his Service goes above and beyond, as well as ALL others that take the Oath to Serve and Protect.

Rudy, Sorry, I have been out of touch for a while. I only caught this today.

I feel for you and your staff. I have lost two freinds to shooters in my 20+ years of Policing. I hope your Deputy pulls through and the bad guy gets the ultimate penalty. My thoughts to all your staff and familys in this horrific time
