More then likely pass each other in broad daylight. Or if very [un]lucky just happen to meet would probably bounce...(like two tennis balls)

Only thing I'm not crazy about on the Zee's are the slot screws at the base.

I avoid slotted screws when every I can. If possible, I replace with allen heads or torx usually bought at Ace Hardware or Brownells.

Dang, me too. If ya have picatinny bases you can use 8-40 allen head screws. Weaver slots are just a shade too small for the 8 size. Last time I retapped the 6-48, to 6-40 I believe and used allen head screws and its worked fine. I cant believe Burris still uses the slot screw heads.

Every time I've seen base and ring screws come loose have been with cheap and or miss matched components.
I have never needed bubble gum or it's likes to keep things in place.

Get a quality set of bases and rings from the same company and put them on.
I highly recommend the use of a lapping tool for the rings !!!

Dont have to lap with Zee Signature rings.

He's back and his usual disagreeable self...Vacation didn't do him any good. I can see that.

I have a Redfield Compact 3 X 9 on my Browning A-bolt. I used Redfield rings and mounts. No problems for the last 15 years. Scope and rings still solid and on target. Redfield used allen screws in those days.
