Is your orphan like the ones in NZ? I have a beanie made from those and the furr is the softest stuff I've ever seen. A gal brought it back for me, told me it was possum and I was in disbelief. The Opossum's out here are giant gnarly rats. The fur on the kiwi hat is like mink and super warm.....really good stuff!

Howdy Stovepipe, I don't know mate as i haven't been to New Zealand, but i would imagine they are similar if not the same!

erny...It's a promise. If you offend me you will know about it. Believe me. We do banter on here a lot. Sometimes we even go hunting. And if you hunt you know that a sense of humor is mandatory...

All good mate, just making sure i have not offended anyone that's all, no good starting off on the wrong foot! And yes, i do hunt and i have a great sense of humour, although according to my wife it's twisted severely.

Welcome to the site Erny! It is pretty hard to offend anyone here. We just naturally take things as jokes most of the time - and we do some joking too. Mostly we are here to help when help is needed, learn what we can, and just have fun with others that share our passion for the shooting sports.

Howdy wiersy, all i can say being a Queenslander is, Pass the fruit & nuts, especially bananas please! As a matter of fact we are know as the Banana republic!
