Here we go again, one channel says 1-2" another says 4-6" I'm afraid to change channels. I look out the window and it;s definitely coming down at more then a 1-2" pace. And flying sideways to boot.

We had maybe another inch of "global warming" last night but it melted pretty quickly today. However, they are calling for a chance of more tomorrow. Its been quite a while since we've seen snow this often.

According to Forbes.com, Cleveland has the worst winter weather of the 50 largest metro areas in the country...
www.forbes.com/2010/02...ife_travel
Buffalo would have ranked 1st (is that higher or lower?) except that they are not among the 50 largest cities.
Keep in mind that Cleveland's snowfall is measured at the airport (Cleveland Hopkins) which is on the west side of town (near where I grew up). East of Cleveland (where I live now) is known as the "snow belt", where average snowfall is 1 1/2 to 2 times greater. Chardon, Ohio averages around 125 inches per year...

Local weather is saying another 6" in store for us Monday night. Where we're going to pile it is beyond me. They've been out since Friday plowing back the drifts from the wind and using front end loaders to move the snow back from the edge of the roads so the plows will have more room to push the next snowfall. All of that is bad enough but what really gets my goat is the fact that I can't get into the local range to do any shooting!

That's what's really bothering me...
Ever since I got the new Kimber, we've had snow on the ground, and I HATE pickin' brass outa the snow...

Snowing again here tonight.
Looking to be the coldest winter in the UK since the 3 month freeze back in '63.
At least it's a dry cold right now, rather then the heat sapping dampness of our usual winters.

Joe,
They are saying possibility of 50-60 MPH winds up here with this storm, but your area is supposed to be even higher. I thought we were finally done with winter when I saw a groundhog out last week. I guess the jokes on him.
