TK,
We have a similar rabbit to your Swamp Rabbit, it is called a Muck Rabbit here bouts. They are darker than a cottontail and pretty crafty.

You did forget the "No shoulders" as refrence to all things that slither. A panther, pronounced, "painter," is the local refrence to a mountain lion without a mountain, as we do not have any mountains. All female deer are called 'butt heads."

We have an odd breed of goats around here, the farmers call them "those damned goats." Very Happy
Best,
Ed

Around here we also have "slow elk" and "mountain maggots" Smile Those of course refering to cattle and sheep.

Swamp Donkey = Moose

Propellerheads = doe mule deer

Armadillo that's a damn hard speed bump!

I just has a road goat running along side the truck on the shoulder. I guess he was drag racing the Ram.

I told my wife to open the door so I could clip him but she didn't think it was such a good idea.
