Would that be the Redhawk or Blackhawk?

It's the Blackhawk, with a 4 5/8" barrel.
It's perfect for packing into the woods.
Jeff Quinn told me to reload 22gr of H110, and use a 210gr Hornady XTP/HP bullet.
I will pick that stuff up along with the .41 Magnum Lee Dies on Friday.

The pistol is in perfect shape and I paid $300.00.
My shooting buddy came across a S&W .41Mag this summer, and it took me that long to get him down to a reasonable price.
I shot some of his reloads today and was impressed by the accuracy that I got.

I'll tell the Wife about my Christmas present---next Christmas--- Mad Mad

My Brother used to shoot silhouette comp. he had two Ruger Blackhawk's in 44 mag. 10 barrel's. and 10 oz. trigger pull. He did real well. Open sight class, at 200 meters hitting a 3'x4' steel ram and knocking it over to count. Much better shot than myself. To shoot that well he would shoot over 1000 rds. per week. I remember he wore out the barrels and had to replace them at least once. I'll find out what some of his loads he used.
I had the Ruger Redhawk 44 mag. 7.5" barrel I used for hunting. Ruger makes a nice gun. Enjoy.

Well I must of been good this year because my daughter got me a nice wooden ammo box from cabelas. It is one of those antique looking boxes with a deer on the front with rope handles. My bride got me a Buck hunting knife similar to the one that Vince has. I think it is a folding omni hunter with a gut hook. It is a really nice piece. I purchased myself a new Savage model 10 rifle in 243 Win to help take care of the Coyote population around here. :-)
