It will have dispersed by the time you get over there, the aftermath however might last some time.
How much time are you spending on the east coast?

Does anyone else also feels that difference in swing? The world seems a little bit head-heavy since Vince moved to the North...
And I think that hanging upside down on the other end of the world leaves some marks... who else would leave his place while it's summer to travel North where winter is coming up? Or is airco really so much more expensive than heating?
Vince's trip must be sponsored by some energy-company or at least by a company producing hot high-alcoholic drinks...

Well, day one was a bloody long day. The Travel Agent booked me to fly Air NZ to the US via Auckland in New Zealand. I can’t fault the service of the airline, it was beyond fantastic, but the 3+ hour layover made for a very long day, especially considering I had two more flights to get to my first destination.
Arrival at Los Angeles LAX was welcomed as sleep was sporadic in “cattle class” on the plane. A very long walk from one end of the terminal to the other to go through security, go through Customs (a very easy and trouble free experience) then another long walk to get to my next flight. The transition through TSA went like a breeze...about 10 minutes which included a scan and pat down because of the metal supports in my knee brace. Another couple of hours layover before my flight to San Francisco. I thought it about time a coffee was in order (note to self...order a SMALL coffee next time as even a medium was the size of a milkshake and bigger than a large in Australia!)
The flight to SFO was good...no complaints at all...then another long walk. I can’t believe the size of the airport terminals in the US. Went to my next departure lounge, sat around for maybe 1/2 an hour only to find out the flight to Redding had been cancelled due to a lack of a crew. I estimated I had been on the go for over 24 hours since falling out of bed in Brisbane. Full kudos to United Airlines...they didn’t even hesitate to put me up in a Hotel (The Crowne Hotel) at their cost, transfers and also provide me with $30 meal voucher and a comfort/vanity pack. Next morning we took off with a very short delay for Redding. SFO has got to be the busiest airport I have ever seen...it was almost as bad as peak hour traffic in Sydney! We were #15 in the lineup to take off.
I arrived in Redding very tired...jet lag is the pits...was picked up and taken back to where I was staying. My eyeballs felt like they were hanging in my cheeks and I was struggling to stay awake. An 11 hour sleep seen me sorta back on my feet and ready for a day of sightseeing.
I’m off to Las Vegas on Friday for the next leg of my epic adventure. More to follow soon.

And he thinks LAX and SFO are big. Wait till he sees the one's on the east coast.

Glad you survived the journey matey.
Dunno why but jet lag going east is always 10x worse than when heading west & it takes me 4 or 5 days to get straightened out when arriving back in the UK from the US.
Funny things airports; Atlanta's about as big & as busy as they get but it feels less crowded than Manchester UK, possibly down to there being seven (or is it eight) separate terminals. Heck, the international terminal there is positively restful, leastways the departure part.
I hope you're having a really excellent time.

Pay little attention to the gyrating girls, there are professional pick-pockets that take advantage of any distraction. It's rare inside the casinos because of all the cameras. Everyone and everything is there to keep you betting. They even pressurize the casino to keep your oxygen intake high.
Walking around is good for you. You can find cheap meals and you know when the sun goes down.
