In this election a vote for any third party candidate is as good as voting for Killary
This election has nothing to do with the best person for the job, and everything to do with stripping the power, control, lust, and greed away from professional politicians. Therefore there is only one valid choice.
Professional politicians would want you to believe that only they are qualified to run the country, and the world. How's that going for you? There is no RNC and there is no DNC there are only professional politicians that understand that to maintain their power and control over you they must diminish your belief that you are a competent and self sufficient individual. They use the ruse of a two party system to make excuses for not being able to do anything, well the RNC been in control for a while now and what has happened? Anything to your liking or anything that you can proudly stand behind?
They are all corrupt to a lesser or greater degree and have been bought and paid for by the multi-national corporations as well as other countries.
The other two have absolutely no chance to win and frankly based on what my research indicates that's a good thing, and Killary belongs in prison. But what kind of research have you done on the truth of Donald Trump, or do you just listen to and partially or wholly believe the media, and all those other frightened and corrupt politicians have to say. WHY ARE THEY SO FRIGHTENED OF DONALD TRUMP? Because when the people understand that we do not need professional politicians to run this country they will lose their power. We need competent people, people who have actually done something and are successful. Does it take a genius to run a country, I don't think so, look who's doing it now.
Do I think Trump is the best person for the job, NO. But, he is the best person running, that has a chance to win. If he lives that long. Would I ever consider him a friend, no. But, do you know how many awards he has received in the past, how many millions of dollars he has given, and how many more his work has caused others to give, and yet he has never been called a racist or misogynistic until he decided to run for office.
How about the illustrious presidents of the last few years, Clinton took the Oval Office into the gutter, found a new type of humidor, proved that he didn't know what sex was, and was impeached. Bush put us in a war that we should never have been in and escalated the rise of all kinds of middle eastern terrorists, then he paid off wall street with a "too big to fail" fallacy. Obama speaks for himself, and now because you don't want to like Trump, you are going to let Killary win. You deserve everything you get.

I have a hard time seeing the difference between one who wants to destroy the second amendment and another who wants to destroy the fourth amendment. My principles won't allow me to vote for either of them. The folks who are running this elections are playing one amendment against the other. BULL! I will vote my conscience. I will vote for liberty. I will vote for freedom and the constitution. I will vote Libertarian.
Those of you who are willing to give up one right at the expense of another will have to live with that on your conscience. I won't vote to lose any of my rights.

Can't seem to talk politics around my friends or co-workers, it's nice to hear some opinions! and nice to realize the passion we have in our opinions. Most people I'm around seem to ignore the news the political climate except for the out and out lies going on and of course it's all through the biased media comedians. Yup they're the same people that voted for our current mess.

You have that 100% correct Tiks. The vast majority of politicians today are nothing more than puppets with a mix of big business and party power brokers pulling the strings.
Gone are the days when people went into politics as a calling, to do something good for the country and people. Politics is nothing more than a high paid job with lurks and perks.

The media is controlling things and telling people who to vote for. Seems most are too lazy to actually check the facts themselves. I'm very disappointed in some of my friends because of that.

PaulS, I will never fault a person for voting their conscience, and were there a true Libertarian candidate I might also be enticed, by every measure I am a Libertarian. However Johnson fails as a Libertarian for many reasons.

You need to vote what your heart and mind tell you, if we disagree that's fine, I take no offense and hope that you and I are still friends, after all we agree on so much.

You lot are gentlemen (+ one lady).
A political discussion that hasn't descended into an abusive diatribe at one another.
Well done.

I fully expect others to vote their conscience. It may not be my choice but as long as they are voting in a knowledgeable manner then that is their right and duty.
How we vote does not determine whether we are friends. The way we live our lives is more important than any political standing that may exist.
I don't feel as though I have been slighted or attacked. I hope that no one feels I have attacked them. We are all individuals.
This group of people is a special group to me. Each of you has a place in my heart. If it ever came to it I would feel good fighting along side any of you.
