Isn't it strange? The media only reports (for the vast VAST majority) on the few "shootings" that occur in "sensitive" areas?

They never report on when a HAND HELD firearm is used to ACTUALLY SAVE A LIFE AS IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO.

STUPID LIBERALS!

The prez is going to come to Roseburg, news media polled 1400 residents, most don't want him here, sayin it's too early and his political ambitions aren't welcome. 65% said they're pro-guns. (in a Democrat state)

Stovetop!!! my treasure!! an a gracious howdy to you too!

Ok the prez was here and it was kinda interesting, he brought in 2 cargo planes full of quipment! One was filled with the two helicopters disguised as each other (Marine One I think) and the other was full of....I dunno.....porno or something. He flew in to Eugene on AirForce One a Boeing VC-25 (let's count...that's 5 aircraft so far) then boarded his Marine One to fly to Roseburg (a whopping 72 miles....what a road weary ordeal).

So in Roseburg the reporters and camera crews were all set up at the airport to greet him and capture a glimpse of the celebrity, but before his copters arrived 3 military Ospreys arrived, I suppose they were his air to ground tactical support just-in-case (ok that's 8 aircraft and countless personnel). Then, as if on cue, the fashionably late big O, with his twin Marine One choppers arrived. He was the last one out of course and jauntily strolled over to the awaiting gangster-black SUV limo (which was probably driven to Roseburg, fresh off the cargo plane in Eugene).

He went to a local high school, past streets lined with protesters of various sorts and settled down with victom's families for about an hour or so. He came out and gave the reporters a short run-down on the love and compassion that has been displayed by the residents of Oregon and he offered any Federal help that they might wish for, which led him into stating the obligatory " we gotta stop this from happening again" speach.....but then he said, "but this is about the families" (right....in their faces too).

Ok he left Roseburg, the same way he came and was then on his way to Wa. state I believe to spend some more av-gas. Overall it was interesting to see the extent of a presidential visit. Makes me cringe at the cost of it all.

Good to see he did it by the book [fear mongering of the anti's]
And not one person or piece of equipment was armed for that visit

Sorry tiks but his secret service detail would have been armed to the teeth, same with the V22's and whomever was in the back of them.
They just dont advertise it.

The father of a woman who was shot in the back told him to go away, that he couldn't see his daughter because it was all for his political agenda and he wasn't welcome. The woman normally carried but because she was on campus she was disarmed.

As I understand it he didn't find any friends at any of his stops in Oregon. He was probably better received in Washington. They forgot to tell me he was coming so I missed the whole targeted BS.

Bushy, I agree a waste - and then all the expense for the vehicles and manpower too.

Well the waste has been spurred on my you guys actually assasinating or attempting to assasinate your various political leaders.
You lot pi££ enough money up against the wall electing these dicks, I guess the secret service thinks its cheaper to spend the money required to keep the incumbent breathing, rather than put the vice in office and the presidential funeral.
