Be a nightmare if you are on the receiving end.
Any idea on price or if the projectiles will be available for reloaders?

I believe it is a poor design - an answer looking for a need. A good old hollow point will do more damage to the vitals at ten inches of penetration than this gimmick.

Would be a nightmare for the doc to remove if the recipient was still alive.

The end result reminds me of an old vietnam era medical movie I've seen regarding the results of being hit by a flechette round, the xray is a surgeons nightmare. Multible wound channels and projecties to find and remove.
Similar effect to the RIP round which gives 9 wound channels if it hits you centre mass or in the head.
Gimmick? Possibly.
Good marketing, certainly.
Effective, maybe.
Now standby for its banning as a cop killer.

I couldn't agree more. It's a gimmick.
